Flash Development

SalarO has been using Adobe Flash for over 7 years.  However, in the last 2 years, since Apple decided to stop support for Flash, we are moving all the graphics elements into jQuery type animations. Flash has also got other issues, due to accessibility and usability flaws, but we do use it for limited interactive/animated elements within your site to help stimulate more mundane designs.

Whilst Flash gives us full creative control in to help enhance your message through your site, resulting in a unique and memorable end-user experience - the jQuery is much more restrictive in animation. We therefore, may have to translate complex aspects into video and incorporate it in our jQuery animation.

Please see http://dreamslider.com for some examples of a good jQuery module for DNN.

What is Content Transfer Service?

During the past year we have found number of custom skin clients who, due to time constraints, have also required transferring their existing website content over to DNN. This in turn has helped them to quickly learn how to use DNN and reap all of the benefits that it has to offer.

Please email us at salar @ salaro.net or please fill in this form for an accurate quotation.

Please note that content transfer with Design per page will cost more as we have to dedicate a designer as well as content editor to your project. Furthermore, if you have selected  the Responsive CSS Framework approach to skinning, then all the content need to be made compliant to this approach. For example all the images should be without width and hight deceleration so that when the screen size is very small for smart phones, the image still fits the screen. There are more restrictions that must be observed with this approach that take time to develop.

Skins + Content

During 2005 we developed a very efficient content transfer service to allow you to move across to the new DNN with ease. Our prices are very reasonable and the results are professional. This will ensure the best methods in populating your new DNN site are utilised.

The content team can also translate content provided from other platforms. For example, the design company may have produced all the visuals in Adobe InDesign which we can use to populate the pages with necessary graphics.

Some customers also provided us with pdf documents and we can move text or graphics elements to HTML as necessary.
