Microsoft Soho House Tech Day with UBelly guys last Friday went really well. It was also great to meet face to face with members of other communities, such as wordpress, Umbraco and Drupal. I hope we can continue to meet on a regular

Below are some of the topics of discussion:
Some other interesting topics came up for discussion such as WebMatrix app ordering, HTML5/CSS positioning, hosting offers and possibilities for building cross platform Mobile Apps using HTML 5..

In the next few weeks we plan to test a Brand New windows 2008 R2 server running virtual servers for SQL, IIS with web matrix running our Favourite Web Application DotNetNuke, as well as the new Umbraco and nopCommerce together as another virtual server running Wordpress. We already have a Joomla instances. The purpose is to get our team familiar with best of the web and start developing for multiplatform environments. It is a good time to embrace web as an echo-system that it is and build using the great tools provided by Microsoft.
