We are proud to announce the first iPhone App for a DotNetNuke Platform.

This App was developed as a DotNetNuke & Catalook Store Portal Activity for mobile users. The app and module are designed to allow an Administrator of DotNetNuke/Catalook quick access for checking the activities of their Store and basic DotNetNuke users online type overview.

Once the iPhone App is opened, it is quick & easy to check for portal and Catalook activity. Then, with one click the store owner can reach a page on their portal to make an in depth check and interact with their users if necessary using the DNN module.

Please note that this module at 20 USD does require running alongside an iPhone application on the Apple store and will not be useful if run on its own. This iPhone App is 5 USD and can only be purchased from the App store. These modules have no value if purchased on their own.

Green Resources is a Norwegian company incorporated in 1995 to become a leading developer of plantations for forestry and other uses and a leading producer of greenhouse gas emission credits.

Objective:

Green resources had their main & Intranet sites running on a old version of DNN. They wanted to move it to Professional Edition of DNN and wanted a fresh look for the site. So the objective was to apply the DotNetNuke Professional Edition, with a fresh skin and migrate the content. Security is very important to the founders and therefore, using SalarO means that locally in Europe we have a team that can manage day-to-day issue management, whilst more core related DNN issues have a fall back with DNN Corp's 8 hour turn around support.

Solution & Technologies implemented:

We have built their site based on DNN Pro 5.2 from concept to finish. Design is minimalist with a green theme throughout. Telerik Menu is used as well as some of the finest Third Party Modules in the DNN Ecosystem.

Our design team submitted visuals to the Greenresources board. They chose a design and after making some fine adjustments it was approved. We also installed & set up third party modules like news articles, a Flash module, newsletter sign up module and a document management module.

Green Resources also runs their Intranet using the same Install Running Document Management System and a large repository of media and images, captured to record their numerous projects around the world.

It offers native support for Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2008, and IIS 7.0. Please note that the professional version was released at the same time. • Enhanced New Module wizard to make friendly name a required field.
• When using the create new module you can specify a control with spaces e.g. "my control". Whilst this is valid for a control definition, as that is used to create the file and also the inherits statement an error is caused as neither of support spaces. To resolve we added code to remove spaces from control names as they're not allowed.
• Modified Install Wizard so that all tests must pass before installation may proceed. Tests are conducted either on entering the page or on clicking the Next button.
• Updated layout and help text of the "Create New Module" form and added some code to remove spaces from module names to ensure only valid files are created.
• Added the ability to use the PayPal sandbox for validating PayPal configuration

Once your clients agree on a skin, you can purchase them from us and add your own markups.
